Event Registration Forms and RSVP Forms
An event registration form collects who is coming, what they need and, for a paid event, the ticket price, in one step. With the new Vonza Forms you start from a registration or RSVP template, cap the places, set a closing date and send every guest a confirmation.
What is an event registration form?
An event registration form is the online form people fill in to sign up for an event: a conference, a webinar, a class, a race or a camp. It records who is coming, collects what you need to plan, such as ticket type, sessions and dietary needs, and often takes the payment.
An RSVP form is the lighter version for an invitation. It asks one question first, whether the guest is coming, then only what matters for a yes, such as the number of guests and a meal choice.
| Compared | Registration form | RSVP form |
|---|---|---|
| What it answers | Who is coming and what they need | Whether the guest is coming |
| Usually asks | Name, email, ticket, sessions, dietary needs | Yes or no, guests, meal choice |
| Payment | Often paid: tickets, entry fees, places | Usually free |
| Vonza templates | Conference, Webinar, Race, Summer camp | Wedding RSVP, Community meetup RSVP |

Settings and blocks in the new Vonza Forms that suit events.
Guests in one response
A Repeating group lets one person add every guest, each with the same questions, with an “Add another” button.
Questions only when they apply
Show the guest count and meal choice only to people who said yes, or skip to a later page.
A limit on places
Limit responses and the form closes by itself when the last place goes.
Open and close dates
Open the form on a date, close it on another, and show a “closes in…” notice in the last 3 days.
One registration per person
Stop repeat sign-ups by email address, by browser or by network.
Paid registration
Sell tickets as prices, split a fee into instalments on eligible plans, and add extras.
Confirmation with a PDF
Email every registrant a confirmation with their answers as a PDF, and copy up to 5 teammates on your notice.
A contact for every guest
Everyone who leaves an email becomes a CRM contact, tagged, so an automation can send what comes next.
Need a time slot, not just a sign-up?
A registration form records who is coming. When each person needs their own appointment, add the Book a time block.
- Book a time sends the respondent to one of your Vonza booking events in a new tab.
- The response records that they opened the booking page, and the booking itself appears in Scheduling.
- Running the webinar on Vonza too? Host it with live streaming, with reminders for the people you invite.

Every registration is a response you can search, filter and export to CSV or Excel. Everyone who leaves an email also becomes a CRM contact, tagged as you choose.
