Typeform vs Jotform: your questions
Answered from each vendor’s own pages, with the date we read them.
Typeform is better when the look of the form and a conversational feel matter most, and when you want unlimited forms metered by responses. Jotform is better when you want a huge template library, a free plan that takes payments, HIPAA-enabled forms or e-signing and approvals from the same vendor.
Both start at $39 a month billed monthly: Typeform Basic and Jotform Bronze, on the pages we read on 2026-11-07. Billed annually, Typeform Basic was $28 a month and Jotform Bronze $34. Higher up, Typeform Plus was $79 and Business $129, against Jotform Silver at $49 and Gold at $129.
Jotform states its free plan’s limits: 5 forms, 100 submissions, 10 payment submissions and 10 signed documents a month, with Jotform branding. Typeform has a free plan with “a limited number of responses per month”, but its pages do not give the number, so the two cannot be compared on figures.
Jotform says it “never charges extra transaction fees for receiving online payments or donations through your forms”. Typeform’s pricing page does not publish a fee for its Stripe payment questions. Your payment processor’s own fees apply either way.
Jotform: its templates page lists 20,000+ form templates. Typeform has a template gallery for forms, surveys and quizzes but does not state a count.
Yes. Typeform lists a Google Sheets integration that syncs as results come in, and Jotform lists Google Sheets among 200+ integrations. Both also connect to HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack and Zapier.
Vonza, our own product, keeps forms in the same account as a CRM, email marketing, checkout pages, courses and community. Every respondent who leaves an email becomes a CRM contact, a form can take payments with add-ons and coupon codes, and a submission can start an automation. It has no native Google Sheets app; responses go out through webhooks to Zapier, Make or your own server.
