Typeform or Google Forms: the short answer
Google Forms is the simple, low-cost choice. Typeform does more on the form, for a monthly price.
Choose Typeform if
- You want forms that look designed and feel like a conversation.
- You need payments, a signature question or video questions on the form.
- You want native HubSpot, Slack or Salesforce integrations and lead scoring.
Choose Google Forms if
- Your team already pays for Google Workspace, so Forms costs nothing extra.
- You want the answers in Google Sheets with no set-up, and charts of the responses in real time.
- You run quick internal surveys and quizzes that colleagues build and analyse with you.
Consider Vonza if
- Your forms need to take payments and you also sell courses, a community or products.
- You want every respondent who leaves an email to become a tagged contact in your CRM.
- You want follow-up to start on submit: an automation, an email to your team and a confirmation with the answers as a PDF.

Typeform vs Google Forms: your questions
Answered from each vendor’s own pages, with the date we read them.
Google Forms is better for quick surveys and quizzes inside Google Workspace, with the answers in Google Sheets. Typeform is better when the form faces customers and has to look designed, take a payment, collect a signature or feed a CRM through a native integration.
For business use, Forms comes with Google Workspace: the pricing page showed Business Starter at $7, Business Standard at $14 and Business Plus at $22 per user a month, billed monthly, on 2026-11-07, with a 14-day trial and a 16% saving on a one-year commitment. The pages we read do not state a free personal plan.
If you need payments, a signature question, native HubSpot, Slack or Salesforce integrations or a designed, conversational form, Typeform lists them and Google’s pages do not. Typeform’s Basic plan was $39 a month, or $28 billed annually, with 100 responses a month, on 2026-11-07.
Google’s Forms product page and Workspace pricing page, read on 2026-11-07, do not mention payments. Typeform takes payments with a Stripe payment question.
Both do. Google Forms can add logic that shows questions based on earlier answers and create quizzes to test knowledge. Typeform lists conditional logic from Basic, different endings by answer, and knowledge and outcome quizzes with calculated scores.
Yes. Typeform lists a Google Sheets integration that syncs automatically as results come in, alongside HubSpot, Slack, Airtable and Salesforce. Google Forms exports its raw responses to Sheets directly.
Vonza, our own product, keeps forms in the same account as a CRM, email marketing, checkout pages, courses and community. A Vonza form takes payments by card, PayPal or Paystack with add-ons and coupon codes, and every respondent who leaves an email becomes a CRM contact. It has no native Google Sheets app; responses go out through webhooks to Zapier, Make or your own server.
