The Community Platform for Associations and Member Organizations

Give your association, club or society one home for its members. Sell yearly or monthly memberships, approve each application with your own questions, run chapter meetups and keep members talking in private spaces for each tier.

Run membership the way your association does

Dues, applications and a members list live in the same community your members post in, so nobody keeps a separate spreadsheet.

  • Membership plans for every tier

Charge yearly or monthly dues as a subscription, split a fee into installments, sell a one-time membership or keep a free tier. Add several plans, give a space its own plans, or let a plan also unlock chosen spaces so each tier opens different rooms. Subscription and installment plans can start with a free trial.

    • Applications by approval

Treat joining like a membership application. With By approval nobody gets in until you say so, and membership questions collect what you check, such as a role, a membership category or a work email. The answers sit on each request you approve or decline.

    • A Members page with real profiles

Members search the Members page by name and sort it by most active, newest or A–Z. Each profile shows points, level, the spaces a member belongs to and their posts, and you also see their plan, join date and access end date.

Everything a member organization runs on

The tools associations, clubs and societies use every week, all inside one Vonza community on your own site and brand.

  • Yearly and monthly dues

Subscription plans charge the same amount every week, month or year until the member cancels. Members pay through Stripe and Paystack.

  • Installments and one-time fees

Split a membership fee into up to 100 payments, or sell lifetime access with a single one-time payment.

  • Free tiers and trials

Keep a free plan for students or supporters, and offer a free trial of 1 to 365 days on subscription and installment plans.

  • Spaces for each tier

Mark a space private or paid, give it its own plans, or let a higher plan unlock it, so committees, chapters and fellows get rooms of their own.

  • Read-only announcements

A read-only space keeps official news in one place, and an announcement bar at the top of the community carries the next deadline or event.

  • Events and meetups

Meetups, webinars, workshops and Q&A sessions, one-off or recurring, shown to everyone or to chosen spaces.

  • Email every member

Send one email to every enrolled member, up to 1,000 at a time. For larger lists, Email marketing reaches everyone.

  • Moderation

A queue for reported and flagged posts, banned words, approval for a new member’s first posts, and hide, delete, mute or ban when someone crosses the line.

  • Payments and member analytics

Revenue, MRR, ARR and subscription churn, next to new, active and departed members and member churn, by plan and over time.

Chapter meetups and member events, built in

Plan the annual meeting, a monthly webinar or a regional meetup inside the community. A Meetup carries the address, a map link and an RSVP cap you set, and every event can repeat. Members see what is coming up, say they are going and get reminded by email.

  • Meetup, Webinar, Workshop and Q&A formats
  • Members RSVP with I’m going and add events to their calendar
  • Reminder emails 24 hours, 30 minutes and 5 minutes before
  • Show an event to everyone or only to chosen spaces

How to launch your association’s community

From an empty community to members who apply, pay and learn together, in four steps.

  • STEP 01

    Create the community

Start with Vonza AI, a blank community or a template such as Local club, which sets up a Noticeboard, Meetups, Introductions and a Marketplace. Rename spaces for your chapters and committees.

  • STEP 02

    Add membership plans

Connect a Stripe or Paystack account, then add plans for the community or for single spaces: yearly or monthly dues, installments, a one-time fee or a free tier.

  • STEP 03

    Choose who gets in

Set Who can join to By approval, add membership questions, then invite people by email 10 at a time, or add up to 100 at once with Enroll directly.

  • STEP 04

    Add courses for member learning

Link Vonza courses to the whole community or to one space. Members find them in the Classroom, and a course can issue its own completion certificate.

Questions about running an association community

Get answers to common questions here

Yes. A Vonza community gives your association, club or society spaces for discussion, a Members page, events, email to members and membership plans, on your own site and brand. Members use it in the browser on any phone or computer, with email and in-app notifications.

Add plans on the community’s Pricing page: a Subscription Plan that charges every week, month or year, an Installment Plan of up to 100 payments, a One-Time Purchase or a Free plan, among others. A community can carry several plans, a space can have plans of its own, and a plan can also unlock chosen spaces, so each tier opens different rooms. Subscription and installment plans can start with a free trial of 1 to 365 days.

Members pay at checkout through Stripe or Paystack, depending on the account you connect, and can save a card for later payments. Paid plans need a connected payment account; free plans work without one. Members upgrade or downgrade from their You page and cancel paid memberships from their Billing page.

Yes. Set Who can join to By approval and people ask to join instead of joining straight away. Turn on membership questions to ask for a short answer, a multiple-choice pick, an email address or a phone number; every question must be answered, and the answers show on the request. Approve or decline requests one at a time, or approve everyone waiting at once.

Yes. The Members page lists everyone in the community, and members search it by name and sort it by most active, newest or A–Z. Each profile shows points, level, rank, the member’s spaces and their posts, and a Message button starts a one-to-one chat. As the owner you also see each member’s plan, join date and access end date.

Yes. Create a Meetup, Webinar, Workshop, Q&A, Office hours, Co-working or Live stream event, once or on a repeating schedule, and show it to everyone or to selected spaces. Members tap I’m going, add the event to their calendar with an .ics file and get reminder emails 24 hours, 30 minutes and 5 minutes before. Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams are location labels for a link you paste, not connected accounts.

Yes. Email members sends one email to every enrolled member of the community, up to 1,000 at a time; it sends in the background and its delivery status shows in your Email outbox. For a larger membership, use Vonza Email marketing with a contact label to reach everyone.

Yes. Link Vonza courses, digital products and bundles to the whole community or to one space, and members find them in the community’s Classroom, grouped by space. Each course can issue a completion certificate, a PDF with the member’s name, the course name and the completion date. Vonza does not track accreditation or continuing-education credits.

The community’s Analytics page has a Payments tab with revenue, net revenue, MRR, ARR, refunds, revenue by plan, paying members and subscription churn, and a Members tab with new, active and departed members and member churn, for the last 7, 30 or 90 days, the year to date or the last 12 months.
