# Webinar Registration Form Template > A night-mode sign-up for a live online session: name and work email, company and role, how they heard about it, and the question they would like the speakers to answer. A Events & bookings template in the new Vonza Forms, “Webinar registration”: Night-mode registration with a question for the speakers. ## What a webinar registration form is for A webinar registration form is the sign-up page between your invitation and the live session: it captures who is coming, so you can send the joining link, remind them and follow up with the recording. This template keeps the friction low with six questions on one screen. It asks for a work email rather than any email, a role from a short list, and where the person heard about the session, which tells you which channel filled the seats. The last question collects audience questions for the speakers before the day, and the thank-you screen repeats the email the joining link is going to. ### Who uses it - Marketing teams running webinars to generate and qualify leads. - Coaches and course creators hosting live classes before a launch. - SaaS companies running product demos and onboarding sessions. - Communities and associations hosting online talks for members. ## What’s in the template Every question exactly as the template builds it, page by page. Change, add or remove any of them in the editor. Form title: “Scale Up Live: pricing that grows with you”. ### Questions Live on Thursday at 17:00 CET · 45 minutes · recording for everyone who registers. - **Name**: Name · required - **Work email**: Email · required - **Company**: Short answer - **Role**: Dropdown · Founder, Marketing, Sales, Product, Other - **How did you hear about it?**: Multiple choice · LinkedIn, Newsletter, A friend, Search - **A question for the speakers**: Long answer ### Button and thank-you screen - Submit button: “Save my seat” - Thank-you screen: “You’re registered”, The joining link is on its way to {{email}}. ## How to customise it A template is a starting point: every word, question and colour stays editable. - **Send the joining link**: Write the email to the respondent with the joining link and the time, using merge fields such as the person’s first name. It goes out the moment someone registers. - **Know where sign-ups came from**: Link parameters such as utm_source are always recorded with a response, so the channel answer and your campaign links tell the same story. - **Ask one question at a time**: Turn on “One question at a time” for a conversational sign-up with a welcome screen and Enter to continue, which suits a promotion shared on social media. - **Embed it on your landing page**: Place the form inline on a page, as a popup or a slider, or behind a floating button, triggered by a click, a delay, scrolling or exit intent. ## What happens after someone submits The same Vonza Forms settings run behind every template. These are the ones this form uses. 1. **The response arrives in Responses**: Each response opens with every answer, the device and the time it took. Export all or some of them to CSV or Excel, or download one as a PDF. 2. **You and your team are told**: The email to you goes to you and up to five teammates on every response, with all the answers or a message you write, plus an in-app notification. 3. **The respondent becomes a CRM contact**: Everyone who leaves an email (here, “Work email”) becomes a contact in your Vonza CRM, tagged with up to ten tags you choose. Existing contacts keep their details. 4. **They get a confirmation**: Turn on the email to the respondent, with your own subject and message, and attach their answers as a PDF. 5. **Automations and webhooks take over**: Use “Contact fills this form” in Automations to enrol people in a course, start an email sequence or add them to a list, or post each response to Zapier, Make or your own server with a webhook. Use the form as the trigger for an automation, “Contact fills this form”, to start a reminder email sequence before the session and a follow-up with the recording after it. Yes, when you write it into the email to the respondent. It goes to the address the person entered as soon as they register, and can include their answers as a PDF. ### Can I see which channel brought the most registrations? Yes. The “How did you hear about it?” answer is a column in Responses, and the Analytics page shows sources such as search engines, social, email and embedded forms. ### Can I limit the number of attendees? Turn on “Limit responses” and the form closes itself after that many registrations. You can also schedule when registration opens and closes. ### Can I charge for the webinar? Yes. Turn on Payments, add a price, and connect Stripe or PayPal. Attendees pay on the form before they see the thank-you screen.
